James 1:27 (NIV) Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

This year Huon Life Church are aiming to:
Start a community garden.....This will be a small plot that will help not only our own family , the church; but also to help needing families in the district and help towards the longer vision of feeding the needy through a van or cafe.

We put our heads together and are supporting another church in NSW "Wayside" to help collecting womens knickers as part of their vision to support women of Kings Cross...so far we have approximately 80 pairs and still collecting...please if you would like to donate, contact the church.

Raising funds for: supplying fresh drink water to third world countries through Compassion ...each water purifying system is around $1500
                                    
Our yearly Christmas drive to help families in the local area with food vouchers.

Also our childrens church are looking at the children raising small amounts to buy chickens, goats etc to help families in third world countries through World Vision or Compassion Australia.
